A "stabilizer fusible" is a fabric with adhesive backing that is used in sewing to temporarily prevent puckering, reinforce and stabilize a piece of fabric, particularly when heavy stitching like embroidery is involved. Designed to be ironed on (fused) to the fabric and then removed after if desired. Dry heat is best.
