This design was inspired by the frozen botanical sculptures of Azuma Makoto. Roses, dahlias, petunias, delphiniums and butterfly ranunculi’s were submerged in water and frozen – the resulting photos then collaged together to create this wintery photographic design. This print is part of the Floral Focus narrative of the collection – inspired by countless artists who have attempted to tame their unruly blooms through the genre of still life, this series is a true celebration of organic forms and flourishes.
